Keep it up Billies!

Just a quick post! Today Trevor's baseball team won both of their games. The first one they won sixteen to one. Trevor played right field and did a great job fielding and batting. The second game they won twelve to eight. Trevor played pitcher and caught a hard line drive and also made the last out of the game by throwing to the first baseman. This made them the number one seed going into tomorrow. We play for the championship at 4pm! Sorry I don't have any pictures. I was too excited to think about the camera! I'll try to do better tomorrow! Good Luck Billies!

A Wonderful Week

This has been a great week! Thank goodness for intersession week! I have enjoyed the time off and have tried to relax as much as possible. (Not always an easy task with my new position at work or with three kids!) The boys came home Monday night. Morgan was beside herself! She kept running all over the house yelling and chasing her brothers. The boys had a fabulous time in Memphis. I will post pics of their trip soon!

Tuesday we took the kids to the state fair. We could not have asked for more perfect weather. There was a threat of rain which kept it rather cool. Since we were out of school we were able to go at lunch time so there was not a crowd. We did not have to wait in any lines! The kids rode a few rides, played a few games, fed the animals in the petting zoo, held an alligator and ate yummy food!

This is a real alligator! Morgan wouldn't get close enough to the mammals to feed/touch them but she wanted to hold the alligator! Guess I watched too much Crocodile Hunter while I was pregnant!

Yesterday, I went to the Canton Flea Market for the first time! It was huge! I had a great time. Next year I will definitely go back. I'll also save up more money! Bows, dresses, girly stuff, food frames, yard art...who can resist?!

This weekend Trevor's baseball team is playing in the fall state tournament. Good Luck Billies!

Daddy's Girl

As much as I try to deny it, Morgan is definitely a Daddy's girl! She adores him! Her Prince Charming came in the form of her Daddy! He eats it up and is wrapped around each of her little fingers. She is very girly but also likes to do things the boys enjoy too. Every night last week, when Gene came home from work, Morgan would meet him at the door saying, "Come on Daddy! Sit on the couch and let's watch them shoot sum deers."

Yesterday morning, Morgan and I went to Delhi to ride with Gene while he and Rob Patten played golf at The Black Bear Golf Course. We had a great time! Morgan loved having her Daddy to herself! She tried to do everything he did. Once again, she was an angel the whole four hours!

Keeping score for Daddy

A little OCD about lining up the gummy bears!

Helping Daddy drive! He tried to let her steer alone but we almost ended up in a ditch!

Like this Daddy?

Still a Diva!

Black and Gold - To the Top

This weekend, Trevor and Peyton went to Memphis with Nana and Papa for a little vacation. Morgan got to stay home with Mommy and Daddy! Yesterday we went to Hattiesburg to visit Aunt Melanie and see a Southern Miss game. It was our first college game. We all went decked out in our black and gold. We had the BEST time! We ate at the Plaid Hippo before we went to the game. They have the best food! We then headed to the stadium where Aunt Melanie had gotten us tickets on the 9th row on the 50 yard line. USM lost to UTEP 40-37 in double overtime. It was still great! Our little princess was wonderful through the entire game. We were there almost five hours! She clapped and cheered right along with everyone else. She even tried to yell "To the Top" with the crowd everytime the announcer said first down. Her favorite part was Seymore the eagle. We can't wait to go back! The boys are coming home tomorrow night. For now Morgan is enjoying being an only child!

Blessed

I am so thankful that God has given me such precious children. Every day they teach me something new and remind me how awesome God is. Whether it be in their random comments, "Mommy, didn't God give us a beautiful day?", an "I love you Mommy" when I need it most, taking the time to stare in wonder at a butterfly as it flutters by, or their sweet little prayers before bedtime. I know she is being a little silly but, I couldn't help but share the sweet little voice we hear before bed each night. We are so richly blessed!
